A two vehicle accident in Virginia Beach left the occupants of an overturned car with injuries, according to Virginia Beach Police.

Virginia Beach police responded to an accident at the intersection of Indian River Road and Ferrell Parkway at about 7 p.m. on July 19, 2013, where they found an overturned vehicle in the road, the Daily Press reported.

Although the wreck initially appeared to be a single-vehicle accident, witnesses later said a second vehicle had caused the first to overturn.

The two occupants of the overturned vehicle were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police officers found the tag for the vehicle that allegedly was involved in the accident, according to a police press release and investigators are seeking a 2006 gold Chrysler Pacifica, bearing heavy damage to its front and side.

As experienced Virginia Beach car accident injury lawyers, we report on many cases in which hit-and-run drivers flee accident scenes and leave other motorists with injuries.

If you are hurt by a hit-and run driver, and the driver cannot be found, you can make a claim on your own insurance policy for any injuries resulting from the accident.

In Virginia you can make a claim even if the vehicle that caused you to run off the road never actually touched your vehicle as long as a police report was made at the time.  We have successfully handled many of these John Doe unknown motorist cases.
